But the length of the chain
When I found you deep in the night
You fell on me like a knife
How it pains me to see you cry
I won’t let you go, but I won’t let you die
Temptress you’ve made me a fool
So I built this dungeon for you
For so long you’ve led me astray
I fell your poison running through my veins
In my tower I will remain, gazing down upon the the length of your chain
As your power grows by the night
I feel this dungeon will not suffice
So I give to you this palace of might
But you’ll never be free, at least not tonight
Temptress I hear your hallowed cry
But I will not be made a fool this time
Temptress I know what you are
I’ve seen the way you crawl out from
the dark
I won’t let you go, not today but someday
How far will you run?
But the length of the chain
I’ll steal the sword straight from the stone
And when the call reigns down on me
I will fulfill their prophecy

I can see a thousand spear heads in a line
Marching with defiance, a warning they've denied
But we will not be silenced, we wait for them by night
Blades upon the rampart, fire in the sky
In our darkest hour, when we hear their swords
We'll call on a higher power, and the rain will start to pour.
We will see the fear ignite their eyes
And all who die here will be buried in the sky
Blades upon the rampart waiting, raise your hammer to the sky
They will not besiege this fortress, shake the ground on which they die
Break the chains that bind our freedom, graves await us in the sky
We are evermore victorious
Shake the grounds on which they die
I can see a hundred siege towers arise
To meet the dawning sunlight and lay waste to the night
They die upon the hillside, by arrow or by steel
But spellbound hunger takes us, like fire in the sky

Tonight, we'll take back our home

Racing on, sent forth from their bones.
My spirit carved from sacred stones, I will ascend amongst the stars. Burials undone before their eyes, to spires deep and caverns high we ride untouched by the light.
Deep the water falls
it mystifies us all
Riders neither gods nor men
New oaths have been taken
old power awoken
Send me forth to conquer, reinforce my armor
Show them they can neither run nor hide
Send me to deliver, riders of the iron river
Never born and therefore never dies
Guardians, defenders arise!
A blistering howl of battle cries rings out, of fear and not of might.
Catacombs left with determined haste.
We ride beneath gargoyles gate, for they know their masters call

Absolutely in love with the full length album (check it out too!!) "The Conquest..." I decided to get the demo too.
